Graduate School of Agriculture and Forestry (GSAF) has established from the academic session of the financial year 2078/89 under Midwest University. Location of GSAF is Bheriganga -11, Ramghat in Surkhet district. 28 km away from Birendranagar city of Surkhet. There is 132 bigha of land under this campus. The grant that Bheeriganga Municipality and Lekbesi Municipality jointly signed to the college. The building of TU has been handed over to MU by Bheriganga municipality rather than the university's own building.
This is the first university in Nepal to teach organic agriculture in B.Sc agriculture. ( 1+2 ) credit courses are designed in this university syllabus . Although other universities have a (2+1 ) credits hrs course .It is the first university in Asia to design (1+2) credit hour courses. There are 48 seats in Agriculture faculty . Out of which 6 of the total seats are of scholarship and 42 seats are of full paying .
